Smart Water Meter System

Flotech’s Smart Water Meter System enables efficient management of water supply through the utilization of in-line and clamp-on Smart Ultrasonic Flow Meter. Data from the ultrasonic flow meter is collected wirelessly or via M-bus by a concentrator, which in turns transmit the data online, or to the Building Management System.

Traditional mechanical water meter poses a problem whereby manual reading of the meter is time consuming and troublesome. Therefore utilities companies started implementing estimation of monthly meter reading. Often there are complains about disturbance cause by manual reading or inaccurate reading estimation. With data being online, building operator and Water Supply Company are able to access the data collected in real-time, whenever and wherever they wish.

With Flotech’s Smart Water Meter System, data is analyzed in real-time, potential leak can be identified promptly. Building operator or Water Supply Company can be notified through SMS or app alert, so that they can take action to resolve the issue as soon as possible

M-Bus Smart Water Meter Sytem

In a M-Bus configuration system, individual Smart Water Meters are connected to the concentrator through M-bus. M-bus communication ensures high transmission speed, long transmission distance, stable data transmission and large capacity. The maximum allowable distance between M-BUS concentrator to Smart Water Meter is up to 256 meters.

M-bus Smart Water Meter System comprises of:
• Meter: Smart Water Meter with Built-in M-BUS Module.
• MBUS Bus Line: Two core wires, no polarity requirements.
• MBUS concentrator: Its downlink to communicate with Smart Water Meter through the M-BUS bus line;
with its uplink to transmit the data to the data centre.
• Data centre: The Online Server, to manage and analyse the data in real-time.

 

Wireless Smart Water Meter System

In a Wireless configuration system, individual Smart Water Meters are connected to the concentrator wirelessly. Without the need for wiring, implementation and installation is much easier. Wireless communication Management System incorporate IoT technology, which allows data to be collected and transmitted over a longer distance with high reliability.
